The Samara Ballet School
The Samara Ballet School was set up in Tottenham, North London in 1992 before - in 1993 - we moved to bring dance to the rural communities of East Cambridgeshire and West Norfolk, closing in May 2018.
Its ethos was to offer a fresh, new approach to what was sometimes seen as an elitist art. Our school was completely socially inclusive, offering classes to everyone; of any age, nationality and ability and regardless of disability, special needs or financial means, with an emphasis on fun and a welcoming environment in which all children could work to their own level of ability.
In May 2018, the founder - Michelle Rasdall - retired and passed the school into the capable hands of Stephanie Mills at Horizons Dance & Fitness Academy.
